50th Birthday Celebrations

50 Year Celebrations: 1969 – 2019

2019 will be a very special year for The Berkeley as we are celebrating a very significant milestone: our 50th birthday!

1969 was a historic year across the globe. Not only did the first person step on the moon but also the first steps were taken into The Berkeley school as it opened its doors to the first group of children, parents and staff in January 1969.

Therefore, throughout this year, we will be celebrating the 50th Year of life at The Berkeley and we are looking to remember this significant occasion in a number of ways.

We are really keen to collect memories from previous staff, pupils and parents of the school as well as those who are currently involved in life at The Berkeley. We have set up a Facebook page: The Berkeley 50th Year Memories and email address: specifically for this occasion so if you have any photos or memories you would like to share please give as much information as possible so we can put all this information together. In addition, if you know anyone who has had previous connections with the school please pass on this information to them so that as many people can be involved as possible.

It would be great to be able to celebrate our schools 50th anniversary in such a fitting way and ensure that memories from the school, both past and present, live on well into the future.

Information about events to celebrate our 50th year will be announced as details are confirmed.
