I joined the Governing Board at The Berkeley Academy in 2026 and am delighted to have the opportunity to support a school that is such an important part of my family's life. As a parent of children at Berkeley, I care  deeply about ensuring that all children feel happy, supported and able to achieve their potential.

Before my current role, I spent 12 years as a primary school teacher, which gave me a strong understanding of school life and the difference that positive relationships, high expectations and great teaching can make to children's outcomes. I now work for Cheshire East Council within Early Years and Family Hubs, supporting services that help children and families access the support they need from the earliest stages of a child's development.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping children and families thrive, and I bring that same passion to my role as a governor. I am looking forward to learning more about the school, working alongside staff and fellow governors, and helping to ensure  that Berkeley continues to provide the very best opportunities for every child.

As both a parent and a governor, I feel privileged to be part of the Berkeley community and excited to support the school's future success.
