It's a problem


You are now at the main part in your story. Your hero should be encountering a problem (see link to last week's lesson below). Spend 25 minutes writing your problem. This will probably not give you enough time to write the whole of the section but that's fine because you will have some more time on Monday to finish this off. You should have speech in this section (use the link below to remind you about inverted commas).


Remember - this part of your story should end with it looking like your hero might not 'win'. 


Once you have spent 25 minutes writing, read over your work and see if you can use a thesaurus to improve some of your word choices. Usually, you will be able to upgrade your adjectives to better ones.
