Homework set 11.06.21 - due in 18.06.21

 

For this week's homework, we are asking you to create a fact file on your selected country. In class, we have drawn countries from this year's European Championships. Your child will know their selected country and will create a fact file, using research from books and the internet. There is a template for this fact file below which your child will be bringing home. You can either write on the sheet or create a fact file in your home learning books. Please take a photo of this work and submit via Microsoft Teams before Friday 18th June 2021. You have also been set SPAG.com homework and a Mymaths task to complete.

For this week's homework, we are asking you to login and complete your Mymaths and Spelling Shed Tasks. Can you also make sure that you are recording your reading in your reading diaries so they can continue to be monitored.

Homework set 12.03.21 - due in 25.03.21

 

For this week's homework, we are asking you to look after the bean that you planted this week. You will need to decide where the best place to keep it at home and how often you will water it. Record any observations in your bean diary. This will include pictures and descriptions of any changes that you see as well as any thoughts that you have if your bean isn't growing at all! Bring your diary to school on the 25th March so that we can reflect on our experiences during our science lesson.

For this week's homework, we are asking you to login and spend 30 minutes on Times Table Rock Stars and also complete this week's Spelling Shed task. Can you also make sure that you are recording your reading in your reading diaries so they can continue to be monitored. Have a great week!

Homework set 13.11.20 - due in 19.11.20

 

For this week's homework, we are asking you to complete the column subtraction worksheet below. Write out each sum in your home learning book and then submit your answers via Microsoft Teams. If you are having any trouble with the sums, there is a helpful video below that will guide you through how to complete this task.

Thank you to everybody who managed to complete last week's homework and submit using Microsoft Teams. For half term your homework is to complete online learning which has been set on Mymaths, Spelling Shed and Spag.com. We would also ask for you to write a minimum of 3 times a week and keep a record of this using your child's reading diary.

 

This is due for the first Thursday back. Have a great week off everybody!

Back to the Stone Age Poem

 

Your homework this week is a reading comprehension about the Stone Age. Use skim and scan to find the answers and then write them in your book using full sentences. Once you have finished, submit this homework using Microsoft Teams. For help on how to do this, read our remote learning plan which contains a step-by-step guide and can be found at the bottom of this page.

Questions:

Find and copy one word that means the same as surprised.

7. How are houses today different to those in the Stone Age?
