We have thoroughly enjoyed our Ancient Greek topic and have learnt so much about this exciting period in history. Recently, we took a flight to Athens and competed in the first Olympic Games on Mount Olympia. We then became history detectives and took part in a scavenger hunt, using a map of the school to search for clues. Ancient Greek pots were designed and painted, along with masks and Olympic torches. What a busy term!

We have been learning how to keep our minds and body healthy. As well as learning about the amount of sugar in different drinks, we have completed circuits, learnt some yoga and taken part in the 50 mile challenge. We have also been learning how to deal with different emotions and that it’s ok to feel angry, happy or sad. We made worry dolls which are a Guatemalan tradition aimed at helping you to get a good nights sleep by giving your worries to the doll.

This term, we have the excitement of swimming! Every Wednesday we travel to Nantwich Pool and develop our swimming skills. So far, so good, we have all remembered our kits and have shown off what we can already do!
