Today we are looking at halves. Nice and practical again, and can be made even more fun if you have some tasty treats to do it with.
Biscuits, cakes, pies (Mr Nixon's favourite) pizza or any type of fruit definitely work best for this. But what I want you to do is find some things from around the home and (safely!) cut them in half. A half is when you have something that is cut equally into two pieces.
Alternatively, if you don't fancy an edible maths lesson, why not try to cut some lego towers in half, or some pieces of paper or card. Find some objects and see if you can cut them in half equally. If they are equal you could stack both halves next to each other or on top of each other and take a picture as proof.
