Continuing our introduction to measuring today we are looking at capacity.
Today requires you to make yourself (or ask your parents or carers to help make you) a drink!
When it is full draw a picture of what it looks like.
Take a few sips, is it half full?
How many sips did it take to get to half full?
Draw a picture of your drink at half full.
Take some more sips until it is empty.
Did it take the same number of sips to finish the drink as it was to make it half full?
Would it always be the same number of sips to get to half full?
How many sips did it take to get to empty? Is it always going to be this way?
Would it matter if it was juice or water?
