LO: Can I create a newspaper report toolkit?
Today's lesson is our toolkit lesson. This is where we look at an example of the text type (newspapers in this case) and try to make a list (we call it a toolkit) of features. So you should be thinking: What is in a newspaper report that isn't in a story?
Download the text below 'toolkit text' which is a newspaper article called 'Wicked Wolf Gets His Just Desserts'. Look through it to find the features of newspapers. Set out your work just like we do at school by listing the features and colour coding them by highlighting the text. Don't worry if you can't print out, you could just write out the toolkit in your book.
