Harry the Poisonous Centipede Lesson 2

For today's lesson we will be answering the question ' Which words does the author use to describe everyday things and what is being described?'

To answer this we will be looking for clues in the extracts to see if we can work out what is being described. Read the extracts and text mark to see if there are any words that are unknown such as 'giant two-legses'. See if you can then work out what could be being described. Complete the table in your book, the first two examples have been done for you.
