Last week we looked at writing a balanced argument for and against evacuation. There is an example of what this might look like posted on Monday's reading activity. We are going to take this and use similar skills to write an argument for evacuation as it might have looked from the government's point of view.
In 1939 the government would have tried to persuade parents to send their children to the countryside.
Recently the British government sent out similar guidelines for taking action to protect people from the coronavirus. We will use this as a model.
