The ancient Egyptians were a civilisation that lasted from 3000 BC to 30 BC.

The ancient Egyptians loved art, building and board games.

The ancient Egyptians also worshipped many gods and even some animals.

Task:

Take these facts and use them to write an introduction to a non-chronological report about Ancient Egyptians. In this short paragraph, you will need to briefly explain to the reader:

Who the Ancient Egyptians were.
When they lived.
Where Egypt is.

You may also want to include some general facts. Use the website below, and the facts above to help you. Remember to keep your sentences clear and in the past tense because we are talking about a group of people from the past.
