Welcome to Boost Club   

Here at The Berkeley Academy we are proud to introduce our Breakfast and After School Club: Boost Club!                                                                                                                                                    

We pride ourselves in providing a safe, happy and warm environment for all of the children and their families to feel welcome. The children have a wide range of opportunities, including indoor and outdoor provisions, arts and crafts, sports, games, baking, science experiments and many more activities. We work with the children to plan around their interests as part of our aim to provide inclusive play opportunities, which are both adult lead and child lead. We are committed to ensuring all the children attending Boost Club have the opportunities to express themselves in a safe setting, we value the children's free time and ensure they are allowed fun and freely chosen play. 

Our team here at Boost Club are experienced and well trained playworkers who have worked at The Berkeley for many years, we believe we are approachable and supportive towards the children and their needs and care for them at all times. In addition to this we believe that it is highly important to have a positive relationship with the families to ensure they feel we are approachable to ask any questions they may have.

If you would like to book your child in for any sessions please contact us at boost@berkeley.cheshire.sch.uk or alternatively you can fill out one of our booking forms below and return it to the main school office. 

What do we offer?

Here at Boost Club we offer before and after school care for children from our Nursery class to Year 6 classes. Our sessions include Breakfast Club, After School Club and Happy Hour After School Club. 

Breakfast Club - £5.50 per session

Our Breakfast Club runs from 7.30am, we offer a wide range of healthy cereals, toast, crumpets, fruit and yoghurts. The children also have access to a wide range of colouring, toys, games, iPad's, brain buster challenges and much more. 

A great way to get the children ready to start their day of learning! 

After School Club - £11 per session

Our After School Club is open until 6pm. The children who attend will have the opportunity to access a wide range of different planned activities as well as child initiated play. We have indoor and outdoor provision, as well as arts and crafts, sports, baking, science experiments and many more fun and exciting activities for the children.

We also include a light snack for the children, which is served at 4.30pm, this is not meant as a meal replacement but it includes snacks such as, chicken burger, wraps, soup and much more. We will have a menu on our website each half term. 

Happy Hour Session - £5 per session

If you only need to access our after school club for a short period then we have just the option for you! Our Happy Hour session runs till 4.30pm and the children will have the same opportunities as they do in the full After School Club session. 

Please note, the light snack meal is not included in this session.

How to find us

To drop off and collect from Boost Club, we are based at the top of the steps that lead off from Laidon Avenue, which is situated by the parent car park. Please see the picture below.
